Bob Kumagai

Bob Kumagai is the Interim Executive Director of Career Services, focusing on supporting and developing the career paths for the students and alumni of the Daniels College as well as maximizing the early career talent pipelines for organizations in the Rocky Mountain West. He is a seasoned business strategist and executive with a deep background in strategic marketing, early stage business investment, technology product development, e-commerce, interactive media, and digital advertising. Bob began his career in the corporate restaurant industry after earning an MBA from the University of Denver’s Hotel & Restaurant Management School. He went on to start-up successful businesses, pioneering innovative merchandising and marketing strategies for both traditional and online channels. An early adopter of online channels, he worked for digital marketing agencies LinkShare Rakuten and Avenue A Razorfish. He has led the online marketing strategies and teams for ClickBank, Dice Holdings (onTargetjobs), Avis/Budget Group, and more recently established the brand and product strategy for LocalGravity, an early stage data analytics company focused on the emerging markets of China and Southeast Asia. He is an adjunct faculty member in the Daniels College and University College at DU. Mr. Kumagai earned a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the University of Denver.

Patrick Orr​
Senior Director of International Partnerships and College Programs

Patrick is the Senior Director of International Partnerships and College Programs for the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business. He provides leadership and strategic direction for international engagement resulting in domestic and international projects and programs for the College. Patrick works with faculty to design, develop and execute international experiential learning travel programs for graduate and undergraduate students. His role includes enhancing the overall student experience through the execution of co-curricular activities and programs.Dedicated to performance driven leadership, Patrick has over 20 years of comprehensive achievement in the design and execution of co-curricular and experiential learning programs, project management, global business development and performance improvement in higher education. He has extensive knowledge in the design and development of innovative educational curriculum for classroom, co-curricular and on-line delivery.His experience includes managing high performance teams with a mission to deliver exceptional academic services. Patrick strives to provide transformational learning opportunities for students during their education life-cycle. He has extensive experience in developing corporate relationships that connect students with real-world projects designed to assist companies solve their business problems and apply innovative solutions.

Julia Stoll
Business Analyst - First Western Trust
Dual Concentration - Data Analytics, Public Policy
Graduated June 2018
Julia Stoll is a graduate of the 2018 MBA class, with concentrations in Data Analytics and Public Policy. During her time at Daniels, she was the student director for Race & Case and competed in the Aspen Institute’s International MBA Case Competition, placing 2nd in the 2018 finals in New York City. She received the 2018 Daniels Award for Excellence for Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year. She currently works as a Business Analyst at First Western Trust, headquartered in downtown Denver. She has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, and worked for 10 years in freight railroad operations prior to getting her MBA.
